Quantifying the connectivity intensity

The bottom objective is to find a quantitative way of characterising the analyticity of the function underlying the time series observed. Up to date, the only number linked to connectivities is the correlation parameter (Pearson), which just provides statistical information, but not intrinsic information.

We have discussed the possibility to study the fractal dimension (or any other parameter characterising the fractality of the signal) of

  • the connetivities themselves
  • the re-constructed signal obtained from the residuals yield by the PWHT method at each step.

<todo>Perform a first test on the connectivities for a positive and negative cases (S)</todo>
